Of course that extra 2 men, out of 2 penal squads will swarm your stumpioneers (a total of 12 penals vs 4 sturms), but your sturmpioneers have extra firepower I thought? Thats why I suggested outgunning with Sturmpioneers. No I've never had issues with close range penals. assauly engineers, cavalry rifleman, shocktroops and penals are all better at close range, so it is simply just better to get stgs than mp40s and without using mp40s firestorm kind of loses one of its main points all other abilites in that doctirne are secondary at best. Soooo at the current meta is there any point in using firestorm doctirne? Volks with mp40s are pretty much useless against every meta build, maybe not against brits, but brits still probably the weakest faction in 1v1 2v2 and infantry sections are nothing noteworthy. Penals are best at close range, thats new to me.
